Memphians wanting souvenir copies of the edition proclaiming Barack Obama the nation’s first black president descended on the newspaper after stores and newspaper boxes around the city were sold out. A second printing of more than 40,000 papers quickly disappeared. The headline on that keepsake edition was a clever twist on Obama’s hopeful campaign theme of "Yes We Can."
